On 11/8/2016, Jose Valsquez (the owner of La Magnolia Trattoria) spoke to the Magnolia Rotary Club members about the Texans United for Freedom Foundation (TUFF). Pictured above from left to right are: Jose Valsquez and Kandice Cabets (Magnolia Rotary Club President).
Jose Valsquez spoke to the group about the TUFF organization and invited everyone to a flag retirement ceremony & dinner in Unity Park on November 10th from 6-9pm.
Mr. Valaquez then asked for donations of games, magazines, toiletries,etc for military serving overseas and stated that the donation items could be brought to his restaurant.
Jason Rinn spoke about the upcoming "Cooking for Courage Cook-Off" being held at Unity Park on November 10-12, stating that volunteers are needed for judging, hospital booth, etc.
Community Service Scholarship-named after Deborah Rose Miller.
