During the month of June 2019 (6/9/19 through 6/13/2019) the Rotary Club of St. Andrews held it's 65th annual Rotary International Golf Tournament in the town of St. Andrews in Scotland. Our own Ted Cummings was a member of the Americas Team that finished 3rd in the tournament. Ted Cummings is pictured 3rd from the left in the above photo.
Congratulations to both Ted Cummings and the Americas Team! We obviously have an international golfer in our midst!
The St. Andrews Rotary Club put out the following about the event:
The 65th annual Rotary Golf tournament took place over 4 days on the Old Course and other courses in St Andrews. Up to 280 golfers from 26 countries took part in fellowship and exciting golf. The separate Charity Day at the Dukes Course on the Wednesday for golfers knocked out of the final competitions, raised £1740 for the Beach Wheel Chair Programme on the West Sands which is adjacent to the links courses.
