On March 13, 2022, the members of the Magnolia Rotary Club had lunch at the Honor Cafe in Conroe, Texas and then went to the Owen Theater to see the play "NEWSIES". Pictured above are those members with some friends and spouses.
Lunch (prior to the play that started at 2:00PM) was at the Honor Cafe located at 103 N Thompson St, Conroe, TX 77301. A photo of the inside of the restaurant can be seen below:
The play "NEWSIES" is based on the Disney film written by Bob Tzudiker and Noni White. It is a two act play that was enjoyed by all who attended. After the play was over, the cast members went outside in full costume to talk with the people who came to view the play. The front page of the program for the play can be seen below:
