Mid-Year District Meeting

On Feb 6, 2016, 10 members of the Magnolia Rotary Club and 2 spouses traveled to Woodville, Texas to participate in the Rotary District 5910 Mid-Year Training Meeting. While at the meeting, the Magnolia Rotary Club members attended training classes that included one or more of the following:

1. Current Presidents meeting with DG Doris Lockey

2. President-Elect pre-PETS training with DGE Gig Langston and PDG Emken Linton

3. Rotaract training with Ron Saikowski

4. Interact training with Sally Andrews

5. Youth Exchange Q&A with Glen and Carol Mattingly

6. DG Nominating Committee with PDG Don Taylor

7. Public Image & Public Relations training with PDG Lisa Herring

8. Membership training with PDG Glenda Thomas

9. The Rotary Foundation training with PDG Roger McCabe & PDG Dave Johnson

A great lunch during general member updates and club awards was had by everyone. Thanks go out to the Woodville Texas Rotary Club and the local Woodville Texas School Lunch ladies for hosting the meeting in their town.
