Magnolia Rotary Club sponsors a Meals of Hope project for SOS.

This past Saturday the Magnolia Rotary Club sponsored a Meals of Hope project for the Society of Samaritans [SOS] this past Saturday. With the help of 59 volunteers from the community including the Magnolia West Interact Club, the Church of Jesus Christ LDS, Scout troops 1114 & 1115, the United Methodist Church Missions Group, Rotarians and all our friends we assembled some 1,600 packets of dried chicken & rice soup mix and delivered them to the adjacent SOS storage area. SOS will distribute them as needed to their many clients in need of food in our area. Many thanks to all the volunteers and Commissioner Charlie Riley for making the Community Development Center available for our use.
