Isaiah 117 House Playground Project

The Magnolia Rotary Club's project for this year was the construction of a playground for small children who are housed in the Isaiah 117 House in Willis. This charity works with the Children's Protective Service to house children who have been removed from a household. It serves as a welcoming environment for these children with the goal of reducing the trauma caused by the dislocation from their homes.
This project was funded by a matching grant from Rotary District 5910 and the Rotary Foundation. Volunteer help also came from the Magnolia United Methodist Church's Lady's Scout Troop, Montgomery County youth program, Lake Creek Reserve, those responding to JustServe.org, and friends of the club.
