On September 3, 2019, as part of the clubs program for highlighting each member once a month program, Hope Moye spoke to the Magnolia Rotary Club membership and told everyone a little bit about herself. Pictured above is Hope Moye.

Hope told the Magnolia Rotary Club that she was born in Beaumont, Texas.  Most of her childhood she was in Jasper, Texas but moved to Hondo, Texas before graduating from high school. Hope graduated from the Hondo High School in 1997. After graduating high school, Hope attended Blinn College but decided that she was not yet ready for college.  Later on she moved to Louisiana where she became a licensed hair stylist. Sometime later, Hope moved back to Texas where she still resides.

Hope mentioned that her mom was a person who loved crafts almost as much as she loved to volunteer. Hope feels as if growing up in a home that was well rounded in many ways and volunteering was a daily task that it allowed her to grow and become the person she is today.  In addition, Hope loves woodworking and has a complete set of woodworking tools.

Hope has three children; Hanna the oldest, Cayden the 2nd oldest, and her daughter Catie who is the youngest. Hope moved to the Magnolia area 13 years ago and all her children attend MISD schools. Hope enjoys being involved within the community, it allows her to know and grow in a community she can call home and her kids can grow up in.

Hope told us that she has worked for Stewart Title for 6 years and loves her current job as a Business Development professional. Hope is currently working to finish her undergraduate degree in Marketing Management at WGU.
