Chris Whittaker, Magnolia's new City Manager, introduced himself to the club. 
Chris is a 1990 graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and a 26-year US Army veteran. After retiring from the Army, he became the City Manager for Rockdale, Tx followed by being the City Manager for Angleton, Tx. He is working hard to learn Magnolia and all its challenges, and he has his hands full given all the area growth. Right now, his priorities include getting personnel in the correct jobs, improving training and implementing technology where appropriate. Long term utility [water, sewer, transportation] infrastructure will remain major challenges. Chris is also a long time Rotarian and the newest member of our club.
