On 11/27/2018, Alpha Academy Principal Bryan Cooper introduced his pick for this quarter's "Students of Excellence" to the membership of the Magnolia Rotary Club. Pictured above from left to right are: Christopher Resendiz, Principal Bryan Cooper, Lucie Eubanks, Remington Bralas and Asa Kelly.
MISD Superintendent Todd Stephens spoke to the group about how proud he is of Alpha Academy where the goal is to ensure student achievement by removing obstacles to academic success while striving for continuous improvement. He then introduced Alpha Academy's 4th Principal, Bryan Cooper.
Principal Bryan Cooper spoke a little bit about how awesome the four students he brought to the meeting are. He stated that all four have worked hard to get to their required number of class hours in order to graduate. When asked where each student was planning to go to college, the four responded as follows:
- Remington Bralas - Lone Star College.
- Lacie Eubanks - Lone Star College.
- Asa Kelly - A yet undecided on Military Academy.
- Christopher Resendiz - Still looking over his options.
Principal Bryan Cooper presented a Rotary Certificate of Achievement to each of the students.
