On 12/12/2017, Principal Dean Frederick introduced the Magnolia Rotary Club to this quarter's Students of Excellence. Pictured above from left to right are: Alpha Academy Principal Dean Frederick, Dallas Wolfe, Hector Davalos, and Magnolia Rotary Club President Elect Barbara Provencher.

Principal Dean Frederick told everyone how nice it was for the Rotary Club to recognize his students. He let everyone know that the Alpha Academy Graduation Ceremonies will be held at MWHS on January 25, 2018 at 7:00 PM. He expects to have 16 students graduate this year. He then introduced both Dallas Wolfe and Hector Davalos before asking them to tell everyone a little bit about their plans after graduation.

1. Hector Davalos:

Hector introduced his mother then told everyone that he was the first in his family to graduate from high school. He then explained that he plans to start his own plumbing business after graduation. One of the Rotary members told him that he might want to consider working for an existing plumbing company for a few years to better understand what is required to run a business.

2. Dallas Wolfe:

Dallas introduced his parents and then told everyone that he is currently researching colleges outside of the state of Texas and has not yet made a choice. However, he plans to attend college and decide exactly what he wants to do along the way. He currently is working to get his band off to a good start. Dallas plays the guitar in the band.
