On 5/14/2019, the Magnolia Rotary Club welcomed the Alpha Academy Students of Excellence. Pictured above from left to right are: Alpha Academy Principal Bryan Cooper, Alpha Academy student Bailey Glass and Hollis McCowen, and Magnolia Rotary Club President Chase Hogan.

Since we had a number of visitors, Principal Bryan Cooper told everyone a little about what Alpha Academy was and that its main goal is to graduate it's students as quickly as possible. Bryan also spoke highly of both students he brought with him.

Principal Cooper then introduced his pick for this quarter's "Students of Excellence". In order of introduction:

1. Bailey Glass

Bailey just started Alpha in January of 2019 and already has a total of 23 credits and only has two more credits to complete next school session to graduate. She wants to be a Nurse Practionier and plans on going to Lone Star College to start the work to get a degree in nursing.

2. Hollis McCowen

Hollis will graduate this May (5/23/2019) and will be going into the family railroad business. He also like wildlife management and if given the opportunity, he will participate in that.
