On 3/29/2018, the Magnolia Rotary Club held its annual Paul Harris Dinner to honor the latest Paul Harris recipients. Pictured above is Rotarian Melissa Pride signing the personalized Paul Harris plaques.
 
The Magnolia Rotary Club was proud to announce this year's recipients of the Paul Harris Fellow Awards; they were student Sarah Murphy with the most community service hours, Sheri Clement from Hope Rising Ministries, Jeff Springer from Wildwood United Methodist Church & Suit Up Ministries, Rotarian Glenn Buckley, and Rotarian Kelly McDonald.
 
Sarah Murphy, who is a senior at MHS, received the "Deborah Rose Miller Scholarship" award from the Magnolia Rotary Club for having the most community service hours of all the students at MISD. The award comes with a $1,000 scholarship which was awarded to her at the event (see photo below):
 
 
Sherri Clement founded "Hope Rising" Ministries that is committed to the long term care and recovery for minor girls who have been rescued from human sex trafficking and exploitation. A photo of Sherri Clement receiving her Paul Harris Fellow Award can be seen below:
 
 
Jeff Springer, who retired as Principal of MHS,  founded "Suit Up Ministries" which has the vision of traveling across the country visiting college and professional football stadiums, teaching men how to Suit Up and become great fathers! Glenn Buckley is a member of the Magnolia Rotary Club and recently founded The Lake Creek Greenway Partnership to make a local wetland into a park for everyone in the area. A photo of Glenn Buckley receiving his Paul Harris Fellow Award can be seen below:
 
 
Kelly McDonald is the President of the Magnolia Rotary Club, a local luxury realtor, and a Magnolia ISD School Board Trustee. A photo of Kelly McDonald receiving her Paul Harris Fellow Award can be seen below:
