2017 Mike Ogg Scholar Athlete Banquet

On 5/17/2017, members of the Magnolia Rotary Club attended the 2017 Mike Ogg Scholar Athlete Banquet held at the Lone Star Expo Center in Conroe, Texas. Pictured above from left to right are: Kelly McDonald, Tom Grayson, Carl Gerhardt, Janice Thigpen, Frank Parker and his wife Marcie Parker. David Arevalo was also present at the Banquet to give the flag pledges but had to leave before this photo was taken.

 

A total of $62,000 was given out during the event. The top winners for males were: Bronze - Joshua Sorensen from The Woodlands HS, Silver - Michael Bohnet from College Park HS, Gold - Tate Paulson from Montgomery HS. The top winners for females were: Bronze - Kristen Bohnet from College Park HS, Silver - Kali Simpson from Porter HS, Gold - Lucille Stinn from Magnolia HS. The photos below were from the event.
