Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive leadership experience organized by Rotary clubs and districts where students develop leadership skills while having fun and making connections. Several hundred students and Rotarian leaders come from all over our Didtrict 5910. RYLA was conducted this year at the Pineywoods Baptist Encampment, Woodlake, TX. on January 5-7. Guerrero Project
Apr. 30, 2024 12:00 p.m.
Walter will highlight the unique position of the Guerrero Project within the community it serves. Initiated with a Rotary International 3-H grant in 1985 and intended to conclude in 1988, the project proudly continues its operations, marking it as a distinctive endeavor that has surpassed its original timeline. Our focus is on providing indispensable medical care to the underserved population of Chihuahua, Mexico. Despite the challenges posed by our remote location in a small town situated 7,500 feet above sea level and serving 37 counties, our dedication remains unwavering. The individuals we assist, often residing in areas difficult to access, lack alternative means to obtain healthcare services, underscoring the critical nature of our mission. |
