Ms Jones will present the roles and programs of the Houston-Galvestos Area Council and bring us up todate on the important issues facing our area.

Coaches from both highschools will lay out their prospects and goals for the 2024 season.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive leadership experience organized by Rotary clubs and districts where students develop leadership skills while having fun and making connections. Several hundred students and Rotarian leaders come from all over our Didtrict 5910.  RYLA was conducted this year at the Pineywoods Baptist Encampment, Woodlake, TX.  on January 5-7.   Our Magnolia club sent four juniors - two each from Magnolia High School and Magnolia West High School.  It's alwys a great experience for the students and  encouraging to hear from them about their experiences.

Career and Technical Education (CTE) is helping our nation address key challenges—from workforce development to student achievement, from economic vitality to global competitiveness. With more than 14 million students nationwide, CTE programs in high schools and post-secondary institutions are leading change, transforming expectations and making a difference. CTE is learning that works for America: employers, community leaders, economic development professionals, schools and colleges, policy makers, students, parents, and local economies. For all of us, CTE is having a profound and positive impact on America.

Barbara, a long time real estate agent here in Magnolia, will provide an overview of the current state of the real estate industry in the Magnolia area.

Action Speaker and author inspires an attitude and culture of high performance and accelerated growth. A former world champion athlete and lecturer on Innovation, she shares her action plan with proven principles and practices to win in life and business.

Our District Grant Project is underway and we need everyone on board if we are to make it suceesful. Glenn will lead us in getting us orgainized.

The Mighty Oaks Foundation supports our Warriors with various programs.focused on each Warrior's recovery and identifying purpose moving foward.

As a club we will review the just completed Grant Project & recognize lessons learned and what to change/adopt for our next project.

Jackie will brief the club on Houston-Galveston Area Council's programs concerning Elder Care.

The orgainization's mission is, "Through LOVE, we HEAL! Our counseling program will help foster care youth rewrite and repurpose their trials and tribulations so they can find acceptance for the present and find freedom from the past. In time, LOVE will HEAL all wounds"

Beverly will bring the Club members up to date on the activities of the Magnolia Historical Society.

Walter will highlight the unique position of the Guerrero Project within the community it serves. Initiated with a Rotary International 3-H grant in 1985 and intended to conclude in 1988, the project proudly continues its operations, marking it as a distinctive endeavor that has surpassed its original timeline. Our focus is on providing indispensable medical care to the underserved population of Chihuahua, Mexico. Despite the challenges posed by our remote location in a small town situated 7,500 feet above sea level and serving 37 counties, our dedication remains unwavering. The individuals we assist, often residing in areas difficult to access, lack alternative means to obtain healthcare services, underscoring the critical nature of our mission.

The club is planning a Saturday workshop to go through a Visioning exercise where we will deteremine who we are as a club and set goals for where we will be in 3 years.  This presentation is aimed at introducing club members to the process.
