MISD Student Leadership Banquet

On April 27, 2017 at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott, MISD held their annual Student Leadership Banquet where the Magnolia Rotary Club was honored for their support of the event. Pictured above is the plaque received at the event.
 
The plaque was received by Magnolia Rotary Club member Frank Parker. A total of 9 Magnolia Rotary Club members attended the event. They were: Real & Barbara Provencher, Tom and Linda Grayson, Glenn and Susan Buckley, Carl Gerhardt, Richard Allison, and Frank Parker
 
The event consisted of a nice dinner and a slideshow showing many photos of the MHS and MWHS students and their participation in all the events and trips. This was the first year that both juniors and seniors were involved in the program. In addition, the event featured student reflection about the event, sponsorship thanks, and speeches from Tod Stephens, County Judge Craig Doyal, Family Court Judge Kathleen Hamilton, and Congressman Kevin Brady (via pre-recorded video). The sponsors of the event were MISD, Hughes Natural Gas, Kodiak Gas Services, and the Magnolia Rotary Club.
