The Magnolia Rotary Club held a club business meeting today where Club President, Kelly McDonald reviewed upcoming club projects as well as a new District Grant opportunity to help a local school that had quite a bit of Hurricane Harvey flooding and damage. Kelly told everyone that she is writing up the District Grant later today in hopes of raising funds for the damaged school. In addition, the Magnolia Foundation is willing to help the Rotary Club come up with the matching funds needed since our club does not have this grant budgeted.
Kelly then asked everyone to put an artistic message on lunch bags that will be given out to elderly individuals that are cared for by Meals on Wheels. Kelly also told everyone that she choose Meals On Wheels as the President's Choice project and our club will donate $400.00 to that organization.
