On 5/22/2018, Associate MHS Principal Mark Hibner introduced this quarter's MHS Students of Excellence. Pictured above from left to right are: MHS Associate Principal Mark Hibner, Zahra Hosaini, Sarah Murphy, Terrell Ford, Nicholas Osborn, and Magnolia Rotary Club President Kelly McDonald.
 
Associate Principal Mark Hibner told the members of the Magnolia Rotary Club that the 4 students that he brought to the meeting are some of the best and brightest of the MHS students and all 4 of them are great role models for other students. Mr. Hibner told everyone that he felt grateful that these 4 students had attended MHS. Mr. Hibner introduced each student in the following order and each student told everyone what college they were planning on attending and what they planned on getting a degree in.
 
  • Zahra Hosaini - Going to LSC to get a degree in Nursing.
  • Nicholas Osborn - Going to Texas A&M to get a degree in either Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Terrell Ford - Going to Texas A&M to get a degree in Computer Science.
  • Sarah Murphy - Going to Mary Hardin Baylor to get a degree in early childhood. Sarah was also president of the Rotary Interact Club.
All of the students stated that they loved being students at MHS and they will miss their teachers.
