2015 Student Leadership Banquet

On may 27, 2015, the students of the MISD Student Leadership Council held a banquet to honor the groups and individuals who made the Student Leadership Council possible. The photo above is from left to right, the plaque presented to the Magnolia Rotary club and the front cover of the program given to each person who attended.

The Student Leadership Banquet was planned and hosted by the students who made up the 2015 Student Leadership Council. The events of the evening were as follows and presented by MISD Students:

1. The welcome was given by Ethan Giles.

2. The prayer was given by Ashley Gregg.

3. The American Flag Pledge of Allegiance was given by Maddie Karnei.

4. The Texas Flag Pledge of Allegiance was given by Sarah Swift.

5. The Dinner & Slideshow were done by Tiff Robertson & Sondra Davis.

6. The thank you to the school board and Dr. Stephens was given by Gabby Walter and Emily Smith and received by Dr. Todd Stephens.

7. The thank you to Hughes Natural Gas was given by Clayton Johnson and received by Real Provencher.

8. The thank you to the Magnolia Rotary Club was given by Mathew Matocha and Vic Frederick and received by Dan Lowe.

9. The thank you to Montgomery County Tax-Assessor Collector J.R. Moore (retired) was given by MaryAnn Powers and received by J.R. Moore. Mr. Moore also talked to the students about leadership.

10. The thank you to Judge Kathleen Hamilton was given by Elisha Spears and received by Judge Hamilton. Judge Hamilton also talked to the students about leadership.

11. The thank you to Congressman Kevin Brady was given by Stephen Webb and received by Congressman Kevin Brady. Congressman Brady also spoke to the students about leadership.

12. The closing was given by Kyle Rhomer.

13. Photos of the students and the honored guests were taken by Denise Myers.

Those honored at the banquet received a plaque and a thank you note.
